EasyDose AI – Privacy Policy

Overview

EasyDose AI is a medication management app that helps you track your medications, schedule reminders, and share your medication schedule with caregivers. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data We Collect

EasyDose AI stores all medication data locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not operate servers that store your personal health information.

Medication photos: When you scan a label, the image is sent to our secure API proxy (Cloudflare Worker) which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude AI for label extraction. Images are not stored after processing.
Voice input: If you use voice entry, audio is processed on-device by Apple's Speech Recognition framework. We do not receive or store audio recordings.
Sharing feature: If you use the sharing feature, your medication list is stored in Firebase Realtime Database under a random 6-character code. No personal identifying information is associated with this data.

Third-Party Services

Anthropic Claude AI – processes medication label images and drug interaction checks. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Google Firebase – stores shared medication data. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare – API proxy. No data is logged or retained.

Data Retention

All medication data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app. Shared medication data in Firebase can be revoked at any time using the "Revoke access" option in the Sharing tab.

Children's Privacy

EasyDose AI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
